Trapped Mind

I can’t ‘blog’ from work, access to ‘blogger.com’ is prohibited, access to wordpress isn’t - so I may mull over changing platforms. I can ‘blog’ from home, but most times the mind is trapped and the mind is fatigued. The mind just isn’t sure about what to write.

The fiasco called Nigeria no longer alarms me a great deal. For my part I think we have unfortunately ‘cloned’ Shehu Shagari. Yar’adua wears all the traits of a clueless leader, but there are many out there who are prepared to give him time. So what’s the point trying to ‘run’ the poor man down? One hopes he proves me and a few folks wrong. Then there is the run-in between the AGF and the EFCC. I am kinda guessing that I know what the outcome will be, and I think it will be the beginning of the much delayed end of Nigeria.

I stayed away from ‘gloating’ about the perceived demise of Chel$ki. I find the present Chelsea fairly recognisable - Mid table, the return of Combat 18, team squabbles etc. More like the Chelsea of the late 80s and early 90s. Notwithstanding I want Mr Avram Grant to succeed; the rubbish directed at him ‘smacks’ of xenophobia, and has little or nothing to do with football. The ‘Special One’ was on an ego trip and got carried away. His next job will determine how good a manager or interpreter he really is.

I also don’t want to jinx “the Arsenal”, but boy have we made a great start. I hope my 16-1 pays off.

Folks, I’ve gotta ‘trapped’ mind..............

p.s. If you are a Nigerian blogger based in London (or know one) and fancy joining a facebook group for London-based Nigerian bloggers, please drop me your email address @ ababoy1@gmail.com

Take care folks…
